Yes. Nike’s own product page for the Air Force 1 ’07 says it “Fits large; we recommend ordering a half size down.” The women’s Air Force 1 ’07 page carries the same note. Measure your foot, find your size on Nike’s chart, then order half a size smaller than the chart size.
That note sits in the Size and Fit section of the product page, next to the link to Nike’s size guide. It is Nike’s advice, not a reviewer’s, which makes it the best starting point for an AF1 order.
What does Nike say about Air Force 1 fit?
Nike’s men’s Air Force 1 ’07 page gives one line under Size and Fit: “Fits large; we recommend ordering a half size down.” The women’s Air Force 1 ’07 page uses the same wording.
Nike does not say how much larger the shoe runs beyond that half size. It also does not tie the advice to foot width. Take the note at face value: one half size down from your usual Nike size.
Other Nike models do not all carry this note. The Jordan 1 and Dunk pages give no fit advice at all, so a size that works in a Dunk is not automatically the right Air Force 1 size.
How do you find your Air Force 1 size?
Start with length, then apply Nike’s note. Nike’s men’s size chart sets out the method:
- Tape a sheet of paper to a hard floor and stand on it.
- Mark the tip of the big toe and the outermost part of the heel.
- Measure the distance between the marks.
- Repeat with the other foot, since one foot is often a little longer.
- Use the longer measurement on the chart. If it falls between sizes, Nike says to size up.
Then take half a size off for the Air Force 1 ’07. If the chart says 10, the product note points you to 9.5.

The two rules work together. The chart’s “between sizes, size up” rule sets your Nike size. The Air Force 1 note then tells you to order half a size below that size.
Men’s vs women’s Air Force 1 sizes
Nike sells the Air Force 1 ’07 under men’s and women’s product pages, and each links a different chart. The men’s page links Nike’s unisex chart, which reads in men’s sizes with the women’s size beside it. The women’s page links Nike’s women’s chart.
On the unisex chart, men’s 8 sits on the same row as women’s 9.5, and men’s 9 sits beside women’s 10.5. On this chart the gap is one and a half sizes.

Do Air Force 1s come in wide?
